Background location

On Android, Urogallo can use your location in the background for one feature only: checking you out of a place automatically when you leave.

How it works

1. You check in at a place (a bar, a café) by scanning its QR code or entering its code.
2. Before asking for the permission, the app explains why it needs it.
3. If you choose "Allow all the time", the app watches only the area around that place.
4. When you leave, it checks you out, even if the app is closed, so you no longer appear as present there.

What we do not do

• We do not store your location or track your route.
• Background location is optional. Without it, you can leave the place from the app, and you are checked out after a while without signal.
